Fascination

Amongst the shining stars
Stands a bright light, yet pale
So persuasive, so appealing,
Often compared with a female.

So full of beauty, and
Associated to romance,
Powerful allure, myth and legend,
Dominates with her temperance.

From her eight known phases,
The full moon captivates me most,
As if she is pregnant of me.
Inside her I am an eternal host.
