Plead for Justice

Who are you world
and what do you
want from me?

I was not born
to please you

Living amongst you
doesn't mean I have
to become your guinea pig

I don't want to be
a part of your contest
playing by the rules
of your malpractice

Asking for my undivided
attention is asking me
to be a fool to your fumigation

I catch on easily
to those whom
try to steer me
in the wrong direction

Politics is a religion
to those that practice it

When I vote, I'm playing
the lottery
I don't know if I
get rich or remain poor

The same doesn't apply
to you, you win a lifetime
million dollar jackpot
of the peoples money

I plead to the
pledge of allegiance
of your conscience

and my own flag
that is remembered
once a year
