Visão da Eternidade

A ambição sem fim leva os homens
Para além dos limites,
Peso no peito que adivinha desgraça,
Honra que se lava com o sangue dos outros.

A ambição que parece não parar leva os homens
A acordarem a meio da noite,
Ficarem cheios de suores frios
E nunca mais voltarem a adormecer.

Vindos diretamente do inferno,
Que Deus os receba no seu regaço
E os ilumine para sempre!
