A PINTURA DO POETA

Hoje, à tardinha,
pintei-te de todas cores.

Pintei-te, com os dedos
e com a boca múltiplos anéis
e círculos de lua.

Desenhei-te frondosos
nenúfares floridos
e uma tulipa negra
em fundo de lago dos cisnes.

Desconcertei-me no que vi!...
Cobri aquele teu desenho
com véu em flores de violeta,
e prometi-me à noite acabá-lo
retocando todas as cores,
aveludar os lábios,
avivar nenúfares,
no seu esplendor,
e abrir o cálice daquela tulipa,
dando-lhe a mais quente
e vermelha cor.
