EN TI PONGO.
EN TI PONGO MI ESPERANZA
Señor, y mi devoción
La fe de mi corazón
El dulzor de mi labranza.
En ti la cruel asechanza
De imposibles fantasías
El pincel de mis poesías
Mis trazos de la ternura
Mi contemplación más pura
Y el carmesí de mis días.
LA LUZ.
La noche va silenciosa
Voy declinado mis cargas
Con meditaciones largas
Sobre una almohada amorosa.
Sosegada, cadenciosa
Con el alma a media luz
Oro al que murió en la cruz
Hasta rendirse mi noche
Dormir se vuelve derroche
Presa del negro capuz.
Junto a mi esperanza está
El amor creando caminos
Capullos en los espinos
Mi alma sembrando va.
Jamás me enceguecerá
El aura de gente impía
Ni la tonta cobardía
Que alberga aquel prepotente
Y va alumbrado mi mente
LA LUZ DE LA POESÍA.
