GRANDEZA ETERNA
Fico triste com o analfabetismo.
Nada tenho contra quem não lê.
Aceitei Deus com meu batismo
e não sou contra quem não crê.
A fé pode não ser entendida
por homens querendo ser Deus.
E enquanto estão cheios de vida
se orgulham e se dizem ateus.
Mas, este mundo segue girando
e pode até mostrar a insensatez.
Porque nós estamos perguntando
quem tudo criou, quem tudo fez?
Mas, no íntimo de nossa alma,
onde a dúvida atroz prevalece,
uma voz doce, suave e calma
vamos ouvir como uma prece,
Pode ser Deus em uma oração
nos falando da sua existência.
Aceitando em nosso coração
já é um sinal de inteligência.
A ciência, eu sei, não é imutável,
por isso reconhece os erros seus.
Entendimento científico e razoável
é a grandeza eterna de um Deus.
