AUTO-RETRATO

Cortem-se me as orelhas,
E pendurem-nas com os girassóis!
Pintem-nas em cores vermelhas,
No amarelo dos meus sóis!

Na mesa, a natureza quase morta,
É colocada à suave claridade...
E dentro da mente, fechada porta,
Refulge à luz da insanidade...

O céu!...O céu azul-incandescente!
Ilumina o auto-retrato,
Na palidez cianótica do quarto...

Do olhar, fulge um brilho demente!
E em lucidez tão amena,
Desliza em pinceladas serenas...
