O vento leva orgulhos e ambições
E também todas as emoções
O vento leva também as vaidades
E também todas as saudades
O vento leva o ódio e a maldade
Assim como mentiras e verdades
Leva as palavras e as promessas
E tudo o que mais aconteça
O vento leva as riquezas e as pobrezas
E também todas as avarezas
Não vale a pena dele correr atrás
Que ele nunca volta para trás
Ninguém sabe para onde ele vai
Com os seus assobios e ais
Apenas a sua força sentimos
Mas com ele não partimos
