ACABARAM-SE OS HERÓIS
Tempos idos em que heróis havia;
Havia heróis que davam a vida;
Davam a vida por causas e homens!...
Heróis que tinham causas,
Cujas causas eram os homens
E as vidas!
Causas, homens e vidas havia!
Os homens eram as causas a defender.
Homens de verdade havia!
Nobres ideais a defender,
Com a própria vida, até!
Honra também havia!
Os tempos mudam:
Causas não há;
Ideais, também não!
Sobraram os homens
Sem ideais!
E os heróis?
Esses acabaram!
