Take your pain away

I was always close to you,
trying to take your pain away,
but you didn't realize
and said that I was 
only disturbing you.

What can I do
if you think 
I'm not good 
enough for you?

You've given me
so much pain,
complaining about
all my flaws.

How could you be
so cold and rude
about what I felt?

I'll leave you,
although I know
I'll never be able
to take my pain away.
