When we needed

There will be times
we'll feel
we can't go on alone.

Perhaps we must ask
if we haven't done
everything we
should have done.

We can think
we were blind 
when we needed
to see.

We were wrong
when we needed
to do it right.

What was our mistake?
Why couldn't we win?

We were sure
we had taken
the right path,
we were fighting
for something good.

But we got weak
when we needed
to be strong.
We had doubts
when we needed
to be sure.

There are so many 
paths, so many doubts,
so much fear and we
can't go on alone.

We don't know what to do
when we need to
make up our minds.
