Onde estão os poetas
que cantavam a toda hora?
Os poetas foram para onde?

Foram todos embora?
Subiram todos no mesmo bonde
e partiram todos avenida acima?

E, à crônica melodiosa, castiça, amena;
como perderam a capacidade da rima,
outorgam-lhe o sagrado título de poema.
