VIDA VELA
Tremula a chama da branca velinha
escorre vertical nas gotinhas de cera.
Também na mão trêmula da doce velhinha
tremula a esperança, trêmula espera.
A vela se envolve, derrete, se consome
e ilumina a alma de quem a entende.
Extingue a sua luz e a esperança some.
Mas, um sopro de amor de novo a acende.
Assim é o destino da nossa frágil vida,
que trêmula surge, agita, brilha e morre.
Se tivermos um coração com luz e guarida,
não seremos vela que se consome e escorre.
