SONETO DE DIA E NOITE

Há dias que amanheço no escuro
Com ouvidos surdos e olhos cegos
Não vejo luz nas frestas ou postigos
E o ar me envenena mesmo que puro

Há noites em que vejo dias claros
-O pensamento a escuridão clareia
Sou chão onde a sua mão semeia
Frutos baratos e alguns raros caros

São as lições que o tempo me ensinou
De sonhos perdidos pelos caminhos
Que realizá-los eu não fui capaz

Mesmo assim caminhando ainda estou
Entre flores, cravado por espinhos
Querendo e sem poder voltar atrás.
