E dorme Fausto!...O amor pueril!
Ingênuo eco!...Ó solidão!
Que ela - do coração -, nunca ouviu...

Dela, é-me a saudade, tão grande!
E bem lá no fundo da alma, coração!
Palpita em mim, agonizante...
