Meu amigo companheiro
Que o tempo esticou na vida...
Virou-se a mente ao dinheiro;
A amizade ficou esquecida

Sempre em frente Portugal
Até há gloria da vitória
No brazão, rege-se uma Nação actual;
Engrandecendo em virtude por história...

Só consigo ficar ali parado
Como um vazio do nada ocupado...
Enxendo o gosto com provérbios do ditado
Ou, simplesmente:
Só consigo ficar ali parado!...
