OS VERMES...

Roem-me a carne putrefata!
O corpo fincado no chão!
Bem fundo, a alma despojada!
Dos ossos, a podridão!

E sou defunto!...Pascigo feral!
E sou um corpo liquefeito!
E liquefeito, como arte-final!
Sou cadáver todo desfeito!

Os vermes me roem no jazigo!
E me devoram a carcaça,
No negror do último abrigo...

E sou pastagem podre demais!
Aos vermes, toda graça!
Dos roeres mais que ferais...
