A GAROA
Ah!... como é triste ver esta garoa,
Molhando a rua nessa tarde de fria!...
...Olhando o vento, balançando a toa,
Os poucos galhos de uma planta esguia!
Alguem se apressa com um guarda chuva,
Cruzando a rua em solitário tédio,
E um carro acende , seus faróis na curva,
Que fica ao lado, de um pequeno prédio!
Eu, da janela, observo tudo!...
O muro... o poste... neste fim de mundo,
Cá desta casa, onde me encontro agora!...
Neste momento, de tão raro encanto,
Vou meditando sobre a vida, enquanto,
A tal garoa, aperta mais.... lá fora!
