ESTRADAS CELESTES
Da sacada do meu apartamento
Avisto a avenida principal da cidade
Observar carros é o meu passatempo
Fico admirado com tanta variedade
Para onde vai toda essa gente
Fazer compras ou entretenimento
Eis então que surge de repente
Um imenso congestionamento
Os carros diminuem a velocidade
Apesar da sua grande potência
Ele conta com toda comodidade
Mas é preciso ter muita paciência
Então percebo que algo está errado
Apesar do avanço e do progresso
O carro não anda, só fica parado
Para mim isso é grande retrocesso
O motorista para chegar ao destino
Segue, pára e dá marcha a ré
Pleno século vinte é um desatino.
Ele chega mais rápido se for a pé
É fácil fazer uma previsão futurista
As ruas vão ficar para os pedestres
Os carros conseguirão novas pistas
Irão transitar por estradas celestes
