Ali a vida não é brincadeira.
Vou descrever a sua história
Ele já foi retirante no passado
Esteve em São Paulo e Brasília
Não gostou e voltou apressado
Ficou com saudades da família
Numa terra onde falta a água
Na sua propriedade é diferente
No solo arenoso a mina deságua
Faz do Zé um produtor competente
Conheci a sua história no “Tudo a Ver”
Programa transmitido pela TV Record
Lá a mandioca pode dois metros crescer
O Zé de Antônia leva uma vida de Lorde
Naquele lugar ele é uma rara exceção
A maioria passa por grande dificuldade
Vítimas da seca que castiga o sertão
Esperam a benevolência da autoridade
Aqui no sul se ficamos sem água um dia
Logo a gente reclama e fica nervoso
Água é sinônimo de vida e alegria
Vamos dar valor a este líquido precioso
