Flor do oriente

Quanto tempo ainda tem
Pra que a estrela se apresente
Com a que brilha lá no norte
Já não tive tanta sorte

Mas um vento veio forte
Me afastando do poente
E me levou a um horizonte
Em que tudo é diferente

Lá o Sol nasce sem dor
E brilha intensamente
Numa manhã multicolor
Em meio a tanta gente
Eu enxerguei a minha Flor

Flor do oriente
Num beijo me desoriente
Cala-me todo, sol poente
Noite que vem: suor de água ardente

(o corpo dormente
espera a manhã
para amar novamente)
