but take warning
her poems are
the perfection

she smiles & then
bares her teeth
she says she’s bitter
& begins to read
snarling & gnashing
her words are fangs
biting & tearing
ripping your ego
emasculating
& castrating
your image

she will chew you up
& spit you out
you have become
the subject of her poem
she smiles & repeats
she is bitter
