O mar, vem, lambe a areia

na arena desta saudade

que invade minhas veias

como sol que, quente, arde.

 

Olhando pelas ameias

do Forte da Humildade

 o mar, vem, lambe a areia,

na arena desta saudade

 

O sentimento semeia

a paixão que me invade

e nas veias serpenteia

quando no fim da tarde:

O mar, vem, lambe a areia
