Matt Franklin (Topher Grace) é um jovem de 22 anos, que está cansado do materialismo e individualismo do mundo em que vive.

Ele poderia ter um belo emprego em um escritório, ganhando muito dinheiro,

mas prefere trabalhar como balconista em uma loja de um pequeno shopping center local.

Quando Tori Frederking (Teresa Palmer), a garota mais popular do colégio, entra em sua loja ele decide ter um último grande acto.

Junto com Wendy (Anna Faris), sua irmã gêmea, e seu melhor amigo Barry (Dan Fogler), Matt decide ter um fim de semana épico.

Ao grupo se junta Kyle (Chris Pratt), por quem Tori é apaixonado.
