Andamos por Colombia,
Parte del extranjero,
Hasta que al mucho tiempo,
Quisimos regresar,
Pasamos Cartagena,
También en Santa Marta,
Vivíamos rematados,
De tanto caminar.
En esa larga gira,
Cruzamos las fronteras,
Al alto de Monserrate,
Fuimos a divisar,
Viajamos hasta Cali,
A descansar un rato,
Para seguir con rumbo,
A nuestra Capital.
Cuanto tiempo,
Habíamos deseado
Regresar a Medellín,
Porque estamos seguros
Que todita la familia,
Nos iba a esperar allí,
Date cuenta,
Que al regresar a la casa,
Tendríamos que contar,
Que anduvimos por Colombia,
Pasamos ratos felices,
Y también pasamos mal.
