Le puedo decir señor Velosa,
No hay nada que discutir,
Lo que pudo usted decir,
En ese conversatorio,
Es cierto y ya ni en velorios,
Se podrá contradecir.
Le ruego y no se le olvide,
Nunca le debe faltar,
Ese mensaje del tiple,
Jamás le puede fallar,
Pues de todo lo que ha hecho,
Es lo mejor y no más,
Recuérdelo bien clarito,
Que nadie lo olvidará.
Me perdona la osadía,
Que a un versador como usted,
Me atreva yo en verso hacer,
Lo que nadie le decía,
No se lo entregué ese dia,
Porque estaba con los niños,
Pero con mucho cariño,
Aquí le envío y le muestro,
Que siendo usted el maestro,
A ser su alumno me inscribo,
Que Dios bendiga su arte,
Y me ayude aquí si vivo.
Le cuento aquí y no le miento,
Que estos versos yo los hice,
En un borrador que quise,
Entregar ya en el instante,
Pero lo más importante,
Es que los pueda leer,
Que yo aquí por no poder,
Me he quedado con la gana,
De preguntar por la ruana,
Que no se pudo poner.
