SI ME RONDARAS ESTA NOCHE
Es de noche y el silencio se esparce.
Está dormida la ciudad y no me siente
ni siento a la ciudad y sus rumores;
sólo en el tic tac del reloj hallo patente
la realidad nocturna.
Y en esta insistencia de la noche
por ser noche silenciosa y quieta,
se duerme el alma y despierta la nostalgia
que te busca entre fanales verdes.
Si me rondaras esta noche,
si esta noche te acercaras a mi lado
y no te fueras por un rato,
despertaría la ciudad adormecida
y quedaría despierta hasta que vuelvas.
