URITORCO
¡Uritorco! Inmensa masa
de rocas de cuarzos y granitos.
¿A quien amas? ¿Tienes novia?
¿O exhibes toda tu imponencia
tan fría, viril y solitaria
para tapar tu lánguida tristeza?
¡Uritorco! Estás cubierto
de talas, quebrachos y algarrobos.
¿No te dejan llegar donde está ella?
¿No la has visto? ¿La has mirado?
¿O es que tu duro corazón de piedra
te impide ver el esplendor que irradia?
¡Uritorco! Cerro macho y vigoroso
te veo desde lejos y me das pena.
Yo con otras cualidades más exiguas
llegué hasta el corazón de la más bella.
No te cambio mis derroches de ternura
por toda tu imponencia tan vacía.
