O Poeta é de palavras simples,
Mas directas ao coração do leitor...
É o fogo que arde de amor,
A cinza que não arrefece,
O manjar que ainda que pobre,
Enriquece!
O poeta é o amor em pleno Verão.
É o desejo, a aventura,
É o querer e o não querer,
É o amor e o senão
E é de resto a doçura
Que sai do seu coração!
O Poeta é simplesmente
O amor!
