Uma casa vazia
Que é meu coração?
Uma casa vazia,
sem pessoas ou alegria.
Apenas fotos antigas
e lembranças doloridas.
Convidei o amor,
ele não quis entrar.
Chamei o entusiasmo,
a felicidade e a ti.
Ninguém quis, ninguém!
Não quiseram conhecer
esta casa, habitá-la.
Acharam-na desinteressante,
tediosa e banal.
Mas, oh, alguém veio
e, insistentemente,
está a espreitar.
É a morte,
que sempre vem
para quem a deseja
ou não porque, para
todos, um dia, ela
há de aparecer!
