Meus poemas, minha vida, meu enlevo
Sei que deixo esta vida tarde ou cedo
Separar-me de vós eu tenho medo
Por medo de perder-vos não os levo

Encantem Anas, Joanas e Marias
Para tanto licença vos concedo
Mas que fique, porém, sempre em segredo

Quando vós despertardes esperanças
Não queiram ser só versos mundanos
Mas também liras de bem-aventuranças

Saibam que o amor com o passar dos anos
Vai mudando junto com as mudanças
Para provar que no amor não há enganos
