I can't cry now

I can't cry now,
there's nobody 
to support me
and tell me:
"You're not alone."

I know I'm alone,
alone with all
my fears and
my despair.

So, if I cry now,
I'll fall down,
crying desperately,
in dark anguish.

I'll control myself,
trying not to cry,
because I want
to keep walking
until the day
I feel better.
