We should have done

There were too many things
we should have done,
instead of trying to escape
from our immaginary enemies.

We simply made up
all the excuses
we had imagined and
now we're thinking about
what we should have done.

We'll have to face
whatever it appears,
there's no time left
to know if we're ready.

And there's nobody here
to answer all our questions.
We need to discover
the truth by ourselves.
