I can't understand

I can't understand anything,
there's a wall around me,
my solitude is taking over my life.

You don't know how I really feel,
you've never really come to me.
I can't understand why
I've wasted so much time
dreaming about an impossible happiness.

I can't understand what I see,
because I used to believe
I would finally reach my heaven
if I saw the best in everything
and did the best I could.

And I'm sure you can't
understand my words.
You've never really tried
to understand me.
