CAIXINHA DO TEMPO


Nossas melhores flores,
as vezes são ervas daninhas.
E no tempo de horrores
nos servem vinagre das vinhas.

Então, cegos e embriagados,
vamos seguindo em frente,
escondendo o passado
na caixinha do presente.

Mas, esta caixinha do tempo
tem  um furo bem no fundo.
Por este furo, saliento,
entra a sorte e o azar do mundo.

E tudo que pode entrar
por esta caixinha com fresta,
também pode escapar;
até o tempo que nos resta.

Nós rodopiamos o tempo
na bateia da esperança,
e um dia nosso tormento
será apenas lembrança.
