Guardo versos em segredo
Na mente e nos papéis
Verdades que são cruéis
A meu ver, de causar medo
Talvez seja tarde ou cedo
Nem um, nem outro ou os dois
Talvez pra sempre depois
Pra contar, pois afinal
A ninguém eu sou igual
Nem igual a mim vós sois
Por isso em lugar seguro
Onde guardo esse meu vício
Declamo o verso em silêncio
E mostro escrito ao escuro
Esse meu produto puro
Que o pensamento inventa
Tanto é luz que alimenta
E ilumina os meus dias
Quanto é breu nas noites frias
Quando pensar me atormenta.
