TRÊMULA
Tremula a chama da branca velinha.
Escorrem lágrimas em gotas de cera.
E na trêmula mão da doce velhinha
tremula a esperança, trêmula espera.
A vela se envolve, derrete, se consome
e ilumina a alma de quema vê e entende.
Extingue a sua luz e a esperança some,
mas o sopro do amor de novo a acende.
Assim é o destino da nossa frágil vida.
Trêmula surge, se agita, derrete e morre
e como vela se extingue com serenidade.
Se tivermos um coração de amor e guarida,
não seremos vela que se consome e escorre,
mas seres de luz numa eternidade.
