Engenho e Arte

Depois de tanto escrever
Quis meus versos entender.
Cansado, tentei decifrar
Tudo o que disse, por vezes, sem pensar.

Prometi prosseguir dia seguinte
Já que viver é sina do ser vivente.
Sem querer continuei novamente
Por sentir quão penoso é não poder "falar".

Julguei minha inspiração inesgotável
Feito a fé de um Bonzo flamejante.
Quanto mais escrevo, mais tenho vontade
De expurgar os meus "Cervantes"
E deixar tudo permanecer como d'antes.

Qual "Camões" quero a palavra triunfante,
Na poesia ter eterno baluarte,
No falar e expressar ser dominante,
Tudo escrevendo com engenho e arte!
