LETARGIAS

São-me tediosos, os dias!
E os segundos, inda mais doentios!
Ó vida!...Ó infaustas letargias!
Ó sensação de vazio!

Que subsistir enfermiço!
Que fado!...Que jazer funéreo!
Arde, em mim, uma vida sem viço!
Um viver todo num tédio!

Definha num sofrer, o corpo frágil!
E a vida, imersa penumbra!
Inda quer ser vista toda grácil...

Passa à frente; ó vida modorrenta!
E o tédio o peito alumbra!
E inda toda existência atormenta...
