O poeta tá aí para te iludir
Faz você crer que é ser
E as vezes de tão sacana
O poeta te enfia uma rima bacana.
O poeta existe para te lembrar
Que o que rima pode ser o mar
Que o verso feito lá no beco
Jamais foi um verso perfeito.
O poeta quer te entreter
Fazer você esquecer
Da dor de todo ser
E seguir a fim de vencer.
Mas você não entende
Que assim de repente
O poeta só quer amar
Afinal, poeta é a gente.
