Jeff Buckley era um cantor que morreu quando tinha 31 anos, afogado no Rio Wolf em Memphis em 29 de Maio de 1997, onde ele mergulhou para nadar completamente vestido e com botas.  Ele estava sendo considerado como o melhor cantor de Blues de sua epoca. Seu corpo foi encontrado 5 dias apos sua morte.
