Until Never

So that a wish comes true
I'll put my eyes to slumber
with eyelids folded over
in a dream a wish will cast
upon a silver star

There won’t be any other
wishing on that lucky star
a dream will begin to live

Awakened by the chirping of sparrows
announcing a new morn
hope carried by the wish
may live up to its expectation
when eyes are conscious from sleep

Until time gives up day
and the Black Hole reveals the unknown
if ever waves cease to gallop
and clouds drop warm rain
on the day strange happenings are
not written as notions

and until the people
that make the world
go round stop spinning it
will the wish carry through
