AS JANGADAS

Seguem, na noite, as jangadas...
Do mar, flutuam à imensidão!
Navegam perdidas nas águas,
Imersas em vã solidão...

Deslizam as jangadas, ao vento!
No infinito, surgem tão belas!
Nas ondas do meu pensamento,
Tremulam, em sonhos, mil velas!

Seguem as jangadas no mar!
Sonhos de um azul furta-cor!
Navegam à luz do luar...

Ó mar - que as jangadas - conduz!
Embala tão crédulo amor...
No cimo dessas ondas azuis!
