“God, bless America”
Protect the human race
Shield us from evil
Cover us with peace
Guard our skies with Angels
Secure our land today, 9/11
in your everlasting arms, so
that we may walk upon it
without fear of the unknown,
Bring darkness to light,
put them to shame as we
remember the suffering of
the innocent that were put
to death; before their time
Stand beside us
Guide us
Father, we are your children,
You gave us this home
to dwell in peace and harmony
and the tears I shed today for
those who are no longer a part
of this land, is enough to ask
You, to Bless America on the
Sunday first day of the week,
May the victory be ours, forever Amen.
