The darkness within us
This is the darkness within us
that can be worse than
any enemy we are facing.
We try to ignore it,
although we know well
this is so impossible
and we cannot escape
from whom we truly are.
We walk lost and alone
wondering if someway
we'll be able to overcome
the darkness within us.
So many questions come
we cannot answer them
for we don't know what breeds
the darkness within us.
There is no answer,
we must learn to
live with all
the darkness within us.
