Feel What Surrounds Us
the sweetness in my dry mouth
is making me look the window off my thoughts
in a way I never wondered
moving to the escape shadow
the clean and pure loveliness of a moment
a sweet and sorrow souvenir of repentance
whispering in my pace
joining a gracefulness
of one who as follown in disgrace
surprise, understand
knowing the filling of neglect
just another moment to forget
happening no more than its expected
to our sorry splendid intellect
