Sandstorm to Lightening

A heart tossed to and fro
as a sandstorm with a beginning,
seeking an end to this unloved hearts thirst
of sands in an hourglass's time,
traveling through my veins

burning with desire-
blowing through my deserted heart,
to make room for chance

finding way to find a true one,
who will love as-
a soft wind sings,
inseparable until the end

A new beginning of two hearts
spark lightning, igniting flames
burning in my veins
warming blood that flows
into my heart; joint once more,
