Just Because Poem

I love you like a petal opens
to hug Springs return

I love you more than I do
a sun that shimmers warmth
on the spot I stand
as a sudden chill arrives
and I’m not prepared
for the moment

I love you even more because
you wipe away the left over tears
violent storms bring me with a magic
handkerchief that helps me to see
things at a different perspective

I love you much more than the
feeling I get from knowing
I have you in my life to stay,
you won’t flee from me
like the leaves do
when fall comes in
