Delilah Sings

To my daughter Delilah:

 

An ever present peace flows
from the chords;
soothes the thorns of your youth.

Harps in your heart cleanse;
the trials of the impossible.

Legions of angels are in your voice,
its omnipotence echoes; to fill
the emptiness with colors pastel.

You are the Orion of music to my ears.

With the aria in your voice sing
your heart out, let it shine;

to make it come true.
