Sei-o muito bem;
O fantasma persistente
Tocando as notas do tempo
Que nas palavras aponta o momento…
Sei-o muito bem
Quando em mim espelha a dor
E me olha com desdém…

Nos atalhos da comensurada
Onde se encobre ninguém
E toda é aldrabada…

Já em mim se esgota o ser
Por sabê-lo muito tem
Que já fui sem o saber.
